Carpinteria is situated between the Santa Ynez
mountains and the protective barrier of the Channel
Islands
Just 11/2 hours (85 miles) north of LAX airport and 10
miles south of Santa Barbara, it is a quiet refuge from
both.
A lovely get-away! |

| Carpinteria
is home to many high technology companies and is close to the University of
California in Santa Barbara. Some of the local
industries include flower nurseries, farming
and of course ... tourism! |

Our hotel is easy to find!
|
 |
We're just
off Highway 101 via the Casitas Pass Road exit, only 15
minutes from downtown Santa Barbara and 25 minutes from
the Santa Barbara Airport (take route 217 also known as
Ward Memorial Blvd. to Highway 101).
From the Casitas Pass Road exit off the 101, travel away from the
mountains towards the ocean, turn left at Carpinteria
Ave. and look to your left for our hotel.
If you arrive via Amtrak train from Los Angeles, San
Diego or San Francisco, the train stop is located on
Linden Ave. near the beach! You can check information and schedules at
www.amtrak.com. |
